Powder Brows
Powder Brows is an excellent type of semi-permanent makeup treatment that adds beautiful definition and shading to your eyebrows.
A beautiful way to add shading and definition to your eyebrows.
Powder Brows is a cosmetic semi-permanent makeup technique designed to create eyebrows with soft powder effect, very similar to powder makeup. The powder effect is achieved through the careful insertion of pigment via the use of a shading technique using a handheld permanent makeup device, which is similar to a tattoo gun. In comparison to Microblading, Powder Brows achieves a more fuller, defined eyebrow. Did you know that Powder Brows and Microblading can be combined? - Click here for more information.

This varies for every person as everybody has unique skin, and also depends on factors such as lifestyle and your post-procedure aftercare of the eyebrows. If you have oily skin, in general your eyebrows should last up to 12 months. If you have normal/dry skin you could expect your eyebrows to last between 12-24 months. The aftercare procedure that Paula will carefully explain to you is crucial in order to maintain the longevity and health of your eyebrows. Additionally, on sunnier, brighter days it is highly advised you apply sunscreen with a minimum Sun Protection Factor (SPF) of 35.

Yes, it is a legal requirement for you to complete a patch test a minimum of 24 hours before your appointment is due. A patch test will be mailed to your home address, and will require you to perform small scratch behind each ear with a sterile and disposable blade, the same type of blade used for the treatment, and you will have to apply a miniature amount of pigment and anaesthetic behind each ear. Patch tests are required by law, in order to determine whether you will have any significant allergic reaction to the pigment or anaesthetic used.

Unfortunately, it is not possible for you to have a powder brows treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. You must wait a minimum of 6 months after giving birth to be eligible for a powder brows treatment, and you must wait until you have stopped breastfeeding. This is as a result of insufficient scientific research on the effects of semi-permanent makeup on pregnancy.

A powder brows treatment usually takes approximately 7 days to heal externally, if you have followed the treatment providers aftercare instructions correctly. It will take approximately 4 weeks for a treatment to be fully healed internally; hence why it is most suited for you to have a top-up within a 4 week period.
